Edited by Madelaine Kinsella and Co-Founded by Matthew Thomas Smith in 2013, JARG is a poetry zine offering an alternative to the standard poetry canon; JARG is a loose cannon.

The ethos of JARG is ‘poetry for all’. We believe that poetry should be accessible to everyone and aim to convince non-poetry readers that they can and should be involved with poetry. With JARG, we are showcasing what poetry can be, who can write it, what themes and subjects it can deal with, and how it can break constraints and boundaries. It is a celebration of poetry for the people. Poetry for all.
